How To Play

Goal: Survive the Dungeon or score as high as possible.


Each Turn

  1. Each 4 cards are a Room.
  2. Either:
    • Avoid the Room (not two turns in a row), or
    • Resolve 3 of 4 cards, one at a time.
  3. Remaining card carries over to next Room.

Card Types

  • ♣ Clubs & ♠ Spades are monsters
    Deal damage of its value.
  • ♦ Diamonds are weapons
    Equip immediately. Replaces old weapon.
  • ♥ Hearts are health potions
    Restore health. Max 20. Only 1 per turn.

Combat

  • Barehanded: Take full monster damage.
  • Weapon: Damage taken equal to (monster value − weapon).
  • Weapon can only fight monsters less than or equal to strongest it has already defeated.

Game End

  • Health reaches 0, you lose.
  • Dungeon cleared, you win.
  • Score = remaining health (or negative if defeated).
